Who sends the texts

TheChattyAI, operated by The Chatty AI LLC, provides an AI phone assistant that answers the phone line of a small business. The assistant has its own name at each business. At The Business Lyfe the assistant is called Maya, and she answers +1 (725) 302-1764. Every text about your request comes from the same business number you called, and it names the business and the assistant. Consent is not a condition of any purchase: you can use the business's services without agreeing to texts.

What you hear on the call

You call the business and ask for a call back, an appointment, or to speak with the owner. Before any text is sent, the assistant says out loud what she is going to do, in these words:

• When you ask for the owner: "I've let Brendon know you'd like to speak with him, and he'll call you back as soon as he can."
• When a text to you will follow: "If he can't get back to you within 20 minutes, I'll send you a text to let you know where things stand, with a link to pick a time that works for you."
• When the owner has already been texted: "I just texted Brendon to let him know you'd like to speak with him, and he'll call you back as soon as he can."
• For an appointment or a call back at a set time: the assistant repeats one exact date and time back to you, and writes it down only after you say yes. Your confirmation is recorded with a timestamp on that call.

If you do not want the text, say so on the call and none is sent. You can also stop them at any time, as below.

What you receive

Messages about your own request, one to one, sent by the assistant on behalf of the business. No marketing and no promotional content is sent under this program. A text you receive after your call reads:

"Hi Janette, it's Maya with The Business Lyfe. Thanks for calling! Your recap and free consultation booking: [your recap link] Reply STOP to stop texts."

A text you receive after asking for the owner, when he has not been able to call you back, reads:

"Hi Janette, this is Maya with The Business Lyfe. I let Brendon know you'd like to speak with him. Brendon isn't available right now, but he'll call you as soon as he can. Or pick a time that works for you: [your booking link] Reply STOP to stop texts."

Business owners

Your mobile number is saved only after you agree on your recorded onboarding call with the TheChattyAI team. Before the number is saved, the team asks, in these words: “Do you agree to receive text messages from your assistant at your business number about your callers and your account? Message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help.” Your yes is recorded on that call with a timestamp. Those texts come from your own business number, sent by your own assistant, and you can reply to them on that number.

Frequency and cost

• Message frequency varies with your requests. Most people receive one to three messages about a request.
• Message and data rates may apply. Your carrier's standard rates apply to messages you send and receive.

STOP and HELP

• Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from that business through TheChattyAI. You will receive one message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and nothing further. Reply START to opt back in.

Privacy

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
